———————————————————————————————

As well known worldwide, ancient traditional Chinese martial art of Taijiquan is a highly effective system of knowledge. It works not only for body awareness but also changes the whole system of perception and understanding of the world and human being on all levels of existence. It differs from other similar systems in a way of teaching how to move accordingly to the natural dynamics of life.

The essence of everything is movement. The world is constantly changing and everything including what's inside and outside of our mind and body never stops. It flows naturally and without breaks and stops. Earth never gets angry with cold, and birds do not argue with the wind, they use it to fly smoothly and freely. Taiji teaches us to understand this natural movement can benefit our well being and make our lives better.

All of us tempted to relax and live in harmony. And nowadays with the enormous amount of information available, there are plenty of meditation and health techniques that we use in order to understand this world better. But Taiji teaches us how to remain calm and strong not just inside of the room full of candles and a teacher guiding us through the meditation process. But during real situations in life as a conflict in its deep understanding is a point where us human beings start our relations with ourselves, other people and the world around us. And how we go through this process actually defines our personalities, destinies and our well being.

Within this workshop, we are going to get aquatinted with the key points and basic principles of what is called Wu Wei 无为,understood as "no unnatural action" in Taiji. How movement can become a way not to spend the energy and strength but to accumulate them. How two "opposite" concepts of being calm and being in a movement are actually a part of one. And what a completely different way of doing and not doing things the ancient Chinese traditional martial art of Taiji can offer to a person of this new, "modern" world with its high speed and never-ending stress becoming a permanent part of it.
